The School of engineering sciences will offer the following scholarships to new (part I entry) International undergraduate students who obtain:
- 3 Grade As at A level or equivalent will receive a scholarship of £1500
- 4 Grade As or more at A level or equivalent will receive a scholarship of £2000
A levels exclude General Studies.
Students must have met the entry requirements.
Not available to students coming through clearing or whose acceptance was Unconditional Insurance or Conditional Insurance.
The Scholarships will be paid in one instalment at the end of Semester 1 of the entry year and recipients must be in registration at that time.
There will also be the following scholarships available to continuing International students to reward high academic achievement in each of the first (Part I, 2010/2011), second (Part II, 2011/2012) and third (Part III, 2012/2013) years of all undergraduate programmes in the School:
- Any International student who achieves an aggregate of 65% or more in their end of year examinations and assessment will receive a scholarship of £1000
- Any International student who achieves an aggregate of 70% or more in their end of year examinations and assessment will receive a scholarship of £1500
- Any International student who achieves an aggregate of 80% or more in their end of year examinations and assessment will receive a scholarship of £2000
The Scholarships will be paid in one instalment at the end of Semester 1 of the year following the excellent academic performance and recipients must be in registration at that time.
The Scholarship for Part III is only available to students continuing to Part IV.
