During the academic year, FLTA Fellows are also invited to participate in special Fulbright workshops and Fulbright Enrichment Seminars.
The program is fully funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 21 and 29 at the time of application
- Have a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79-80 (internet-based) or an IELTS score of 6.0
- Be a teacher of English language, journalism and media, American or English literature or be on training to become a teacher in above-mentioned subjects (prior teaching experience is preferred)
