USA: NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship 2010 For US Students

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and The NORDAM Group annually award $2,500 to an undergraduate who is officially enrolled as an aerospace engineering or aeronautical systems maintenance engineering major at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

The NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship was created by NBAA and The NORDAM Group to honor the lifetime achievements of two aerospace engineering pioneers, Dee Howard and Etienne Fage. NORDAM has been a world leader in aircraft component manufacturing and repair since 1969.

Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. This scholarship will be presented at the NBAA 63rd Annual Meeting & Convention in October 2010. It will be redeemable under the conditions established by NBAA and The NORDAM Group, and checks will be made payable to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. The scholarship recipient must use all scholarship funds within 24 calendar months of the announcement of the award or risk forfeit of the award.

To be eligible for the NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship, the applicant must be an undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. A completed and signed application form must be accompanied by an essay, official transcript, resume and letter of recommendation. See application form for details.

Completed and signed applications and required documents must be postmarked no later than July 30, 2010, to be considered for the scholarship.
