Applications are now being accepted for this unique opportunity to contribute to global change in the real world. The Award is designed to:
- Assist in educating QUT students or early career researchers who have demonstrated in-depth understanding and commitment to becoming ambassadors for real change in Lesser Developed Countries.
- Identify and foster students with outstanding leadership qualities and an interest in making a difference on international issues.
- provide a cross-cultural learning experience in order to increase a student’s or early career researcher’s perception of the ‘real world’ issues facing populations in need.
- allow students or early career researchers to appreciate global issues from different perspectives as actively involved volunteers - with a view to becoming more socially responsible ‘global citizens’.
